Some mysterious occurrences that have been happening is one Scout is staring to find different trinkets in the tree by the Radley house, and two when Jem went back for his pants that night after he lost them crawling through the fence they were, sowed and folded neatly over the fence. This changes my perception about Boo RAdley greatly, because at first i thought that he was a crazy man who was locked up in a house all of his life. After seeing what occurrences have been happening though i think Boo RAdley is actually very sweet. It seems like he is just trying to be nice to Jem and Scout and be their friend, because he probably hasn't ever had any friends and he is very lonely. The book gives clues to Boo Radley's real nature by telling about how he sewed up Jem's pants. "pg. 58 They'd been sewed up. Not like a lady sewed 'em, like somethin i'd try to do."This quote shows that after everyone on Jem and Scout's street new that someone had been in the Radley's collards, Boo did not want Jem to get in trouble. So after Jem lost his pants Boo mended them so it looked like Jem had done it. So when Atticus asked about Jem's pants the next morning Jem and Scout wouldn't get in trouble. This shows that Boo was never mean in the first place.
Scout's discussion with Miss Maudie about Boo Radley and Atticus's reactions to the game Jem Scout, and Dill are playing adds to my perception of Boo RAdley's character as just being sweet. Having the grown ups act and talk the way they did in the book shows that Boo never really did anything, he didn't deserve to be locked up in his house, and he was never a mean man at all. The only reason anyone ever thought that Boo was mean was because no one had ever seen Boo Radley. So Jem and Scout made assumptions based on what rumors they have heard. This goes to show us that we should get to know a person before we ever judge them.
